State is committed to resettling IDPs, says minister

 The government has reiterated its commitment to resettle the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kenya.

The message was conveyed by the Cabinet Secretary of Devolution and National Planning Anne Waiguru after holding talks on Wednesday with the Deputy President William Ruto.
 
Waiguru through her social feed said that, “The National Consultative Coordination Committee (NCCC) is engaging in various initiatives on IDPs resettlement including IDPs profiling,” adding that, “The Government of Kenya is committed to ensuring that the plight of IDPs is being addressed and that they are finally resettled.”
