 A Kampala law firm has sued the Ugandan government for failure to arrest Sudanese President Omar al Bashir during his last visit to Uganda. The Chief Executive Officer of the law firm – Legal Brain’s Trust –said that the government’s refusal to arrest Bashir is in contradiction to the International Criminal Court’s call for the cooperation of state parties in facilitating the arrests of indicted individuals. Bashir traveled to Uganda to attend the inauguration of President Yoweri Museveni in May, 2016. Read more:
